Sponsored by Between the Ridges: Alliance for the Common Good, NAACP, WA Conservation Action, Asian Pacific Islander Coalition, and Poder Latinx. The day includes sessions on power building and how to take effective action together, workshops on Immigration, Environmental Justice, Mental Health, overview of status of bills in Olympia, policy priorities at the local, state and federal level, resource tables from a diversity of community partners. Let the City Speak
Let the City Speak is a week-long, valley-wide series of workshops, conversations, film screenings, and a free community concert featuring Quetzal, the Grammy Award–winning East L.A. band known for community-based cultural and social-justice organizing. The series of events brings together organizers, youth, artists, students, farmworker families, and neighbors to share stories, build connections and create collective music rooted in lived experience.
