This event will raise funds for Between the Ridges: Alliance for the Common Good. Enjoy good company, great food, local wine and beer, in a beautiful setting. Celebrate the People of our Valley with a diversity of live music, a short program and the opportunity to raise the paddle.
Tickets which include food and drink are $50 and can be purchased online at the PURCHASE TICKETS link.
There is also an optional suggested donation amount to Zeffy, our online ticket platform, which is a 100% free service to non-profits. Between the Ridges: Alliance for the Common Good is a growing alliance of diverse local groups in the Yakima Valley organizing around multiple community identified issues. We are developing leaders and strengthening our collective power to take effective action for the Common Good. Partners include 350 Yakima Climate Action, Asian Pacific Islander Coalition, ELLA, Friends of Toppenish Creek, League of Women Voters of Yakima County, Yakima Association of Faith Communities, Poder Latinx, Washington Conservation Action, Yakima Immigrant Response Network, Yakima County NAACP, and more.
Recent activities include: our Annual Yakima Advocacy Day • The Defeat of Initiative 2117 and protecting Washington’s Climate Commitment Act • Defense Against Deportation Mobilization and ongoing work to stand with our immigrant community • Sponsoring emerging leaders for local and regional Community Organizing Training • We partner to strengthen many community efforts for the Common Good!
